Dark Horizon Point of No Return (2019) Orlando, Florida
Review by: Keith
Dark Horizon: Point of No Return is Orlando's newest Halloween Experience and offers much more than their three signature Haunted Houses. The entire experience can best be described as a festival atmosphere encompassing a large area at the Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites (formerly the Nickelodeon Resort).
There are four main areas: The Village, Everglades, Port, and the Marketplace (the resorts food court and entertainment area). Throughout the entire event there are three haunted houses, two entertainment stages, a DJ stage, multiple specialty food locations, a souvenir area, and there's even a hidden bar!
The three houses are Vodou, Murder Island, and Ghost Ship. The houses have excellent scareactors with incredible costumes and makeup. Some will even interact with you in a personalized way. The houses are partially inside and partially outside with a very eclectic setup. They are much longer and involved than you first think when you see them. The theming is very well done and they each have a definite personality all their own with special unexpected elements and scareactors jumping out at you from all sorts of unexpected places.

Dark Horizon offers multiple upgrades and experiences, and definitely serves up a full evening of entertainment. The basic pricing is very reasonable for an entire evening of fun and there are plenty of places to take a break, grab a drink, or watch a show.
