CACAU PARK (Brazil)
- New Park - Under Construction

icon_STOP2027 - NEW PARK - Under Construction - (2/3/2026) Cacau Park has confirmed that the park is on track to open in December 2027. It is expected that the park will also go through a period of “soft opening” and preview dates ahead of the full grand opening.

(1/6/2026) Cacau Park.(Brazil) posted a trip of aerial video clips showing off the progress on an new Vekoma indoor/outdoor inverted coaster being installed at the park named Mistral. A second longer video below that shows off a number of the other rides being installed across the park, including a peek at the park’s other two Vekoma coasters: a family coaster and 4-inversion LSM launch extreme coaster.

(8/30/2025) Construction on the new Cacau Park in Brazil is under way near Sao Paulo. While much of the park site appears to still be underground clearing and grading, the park has already fully built their new signature roller coaster, a Vekoma ‘Ghost Rider” model launched coaster that actually looks quite incredible. A construction video posted this week can be found below as shot by aerial drone-cam flying over the site by MCM Drones. A few other buildings are located near the top of the hillside near the coaster as well, including a couple of themed structures, so it is likely that the first phase of the park may be located more in this area, with the new cleared areas on the lower end for a further phase of work.
Pieces for two other roller coasters are already on site as well. According to RCDB the park has a nice package from Vekoma that will also feature a Vekoma Suspended Family coaster as well as a smaller Vekoma Family Coaster that is expected to be similar or the same as the Thor coaster that opened at Hossoland (Poland) earlier this year. An animated preview of what Vekoma’s Ghostrider launched coaster layout should look like has also been posted below which looks incredible.
Below that I’ve also posted the official preview video of the entire park project which looks like a lot of fun and should be well themed if the final construction looks anything like the animated preview. Watch for the interesting dueling flume ride concept where riders are asked to beat on drums inside the boats to control the speed of the lift hill as they race to top. From the looks of things, the slower boat goes under a waterfall as they plunge back down the other side.

(12/2/2024) A new theme park is said to be in the works for Sao Paulo, Brazil called Cacau Park. The park would be from Cacau Show, a large chocolate maker in Brazil, with the hopes of having it ready to open by 2027. A highlight of the park would be laying claim to the largest roller coaster in Latin America, to be built by Vekoma, standing 55 meters tall and hitting a top speed of 120 km/h (74.5mph) via a launch system. The coaster is thought to be either a Vekoma Ghostrider layout, or a variant of the design.
A list of other major attractions include three more roller coasters, VW Beetle shaped bumper cars, Ferris Wheel, NebulaZ, Starflyer, a Flying Theater and more, spread out across five areas, plus a CityWalk style area outside of the park entrance. Follow the links to see more pictures and details about the proposed park, as well as a video preview.
