LEGOLAND BELGIUM Charleroi, Belgium Merlin Entertainments Group
2027 - New Theme Park - (9/3/22) Merlin has signed a letter of intent with authorities in Belgium to build LEGOLAND Belgium, an all new theme park. If all goes as planned the new theme park could be ready to open by 2027, created on a 70 hectares site (formerly used for industrial purposes) in the Charleroi area at an estimated cost of up to €400 million. This would locate the park in the southern portion of Belgium, not too far from the French border where it would be sure to enjoy a good number of visitors from both countries.
